The home of Uncommon Sense: Providing Clarity, Promoting Intelligence

Welcome

So with this issue of Uncommon Sensemy 300th, if you can believe it! – the first month of the year 2024 comes to a close. How was your first month? Are you living at a higher level than in the past? Or have you quietly reverted back to old habits? If so, this issue should pull you from your slumber and give you renewed focus on achievement.

Goal Setting is a theme I love to revisit, and I have some key instruction for you in the Self-Development column. Please read it carefully, and then take action.

Earlier this month, in Issue #299 of Uncommon Sense, I featured a column written by thought-leader Dennis Prager who had some hard-hitting things to say about diversity. I’ve grabbed the baton and continue with that theme, having both Diversity and Inclusion in my crosshairs, which you can read about in The Elephant in the Room column.

In the From Ara’s Journal column I was philosophical and share some deeply personal thoughts about some matters of deep import that you may wish to ruminate on.

And The World of Words column adds to your growing vocabulary yet again, enabling you to sound smart and elegant. Adopt that word and use it.

OK, let’s get started.
