So here is what we know at this stage of the game: various luminaries in the Obama Administration, including President Obama himself, appear to have manufactured the Russia-Collusion Hoax in order to try to destroy the candidacy of Donald Trump during the 2016 election, and/or destroy President Donald Trump after he won that election. In this column I will limit my focus on only one of the culprits of this disgraceful hoax (and will highlight other culprits in future issues of Uncommon Sense). Here is a snapshot of what took place (and which the media is now trying to ignore):

John Brennan, the Director of the CIA under Obama, (seen in the accompanying photo) testified before Congress on May 23, 2027. In discussing the sources of information that were relied upon as the CIA created their final report claiming that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians to hijack the 2016 election, Brenner testified that the Christopher Steele Dossier “wasn’t part of the corpus of intelligence information that we had. It was not in any way used as a basis for the Intelligence Community Assessment that was done.”

However, the new revelations that have been unearthed by our current Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, paint a very different picture. Although Brennan’s most senior Russia experts told Brennan that the Steele Dossier “did not meet even the most basic tradecraft standards,” because the dossier was an obvious hoax paid for by Hillary Clinton to try to smear candidate Donald Trump with bogus and fanciful claims, Brennan, according to another of his top lieutenants, “refused to remove it,” from the same Intelligence Community Assessment that Brennan said did not in any way rely on the Steele Dossier. Did Brennan give his top analysts a justification for including the Dossier? He did.  He said the following unbelievable statement: “Yes, but doesn’t it ring true?” In other words, “Yes, I realize the Steele Dossier is a complete work of fiction, totally fabricated by Christopher Steele who was hired by Hillary Clinton to smear Donald Trump, but don’t the salacious allegations in the dossier sound like the sort of thing Donald Trump could have been guilty of? So include that stuff in our final report. That’s an order! We simply cannot allow Donald Trump to remain President of the United States, even if he won the election fair and square. The voice of the people must be quashed!”

To summarize: John Brennan perjured himself before Congress during his May 23, 2017 testimony. He is now lawyering up.

As is typical, the mainstream media will not report on this.

And that, my friends, is the latest elephant in the room.
