We resume with yet another issue of Uncommon Sense – our 340th issue.
Some of us need to be reminded of the importance of setting boundaries. We become at the mercy of outside forces and other people’s agendas if we do not set boundaries. Read the Self-Development column for some good advice on what to do. . .
We witnessed a public assassination of a Conservative Thought-Leader, Charlie Kirk, on September 10th, just 12 days ago, a man I only knew marginally. Here, I am not so much interested in the individual who made the decision to murder a man he didn’t like. He is a one-off; it’s not as if everyone on the Left has been trying to murder Charlie Kirk. What does have my attention, however, are all the voices on the Left (and they are not a few) who celebrate, mock, and display approval of the cold-blooded murder. Even radicalized Leftists who somehow hold a seat in congress have, after proffering the perfunctory statement that no one deserves to die, gone on to spew out pure, unfiltered venom towards Charlie Kirk, making it clear that in actuality they are glad he is dead. The Elephant in the Room column will take a rather deep dive into the reactions of Leftists following the public murder of someone they loathe. It tells a troubling story.
The From Ara’s Journal column finds me offering some random musings about the nature of nature, and some of the strange and quirky questions that occupy my cranial cavity every so often.
And bringing up the rear, The World of Words column comes through yet again with a gift in the form of a word you should internalize and use – TODAY! – which will make people think twice about you, in a positive salutary manner
OK, let’s get started.
