I am excited to bring you Issue 348 of Uncommon Sense. It is an honor to have so many new subscribers and I am thrilled to bring you various perspectives on a myriad of topics. Let’s unpack this issue:
We begin with the Self-Development column. We’ve all heard the phrase “No man is an island.” That truism is addressed here with an important piece on networking. We leverage our options and our effectiveness when we continually network and avail ourselves to both serve and be served by others. Many do not know how to network effectively. I pull the curtain back and show you how it is done.
The Elephant in the Room column is no stranger to controversy. Readers might be forgiven for thinking this column addresses the peculiar question of whether men can get pregnant – something the radicals on the Left have convinced themselves is the case. But this article only uses that question as a springboard to a different issue – the issue of why some advocates on the Left find it impossible to answer a straightforward question no matter how many times it’s asked. I find that a far more interesting topic than whether men can get pregnant. Check out what I have to report on that matter and be sure to click on the link to see the absurdity of what happens when an activist doctor is asked the question repeatedly and just cannot bring herself to give a simple “yes” or “no” response.
Next, the From Ara’s Journal column. Here I will wax philosophical as I attempt to give you an alternative to following your instincts or your intuition, at least in certain situations. It’s deep stuff, but I hope you read it carefully and absorb this gift of wisdom I am trying to bequeath to you.
And finally, The World of Words column adds yet another wonderful word to your ever-growing vocabulary. I urge you to commit it to memory and use it in your speaking or writing when occasion allows.
OK, let’s get started.
