The home of Uncommon Sense: Providing Clarity, Promoting Intelligence

Welcome

The earth keeps turning, time marches on, and Uncommon Sense comes through with yet another fascinating issue.

Knowing your life’s purpose is uber-important! Those who are clear about their purpose in life (i.e., their values, what they stand for, what matters most to them) have a huge advantage over those who do not have such clarity. Take a close look at the Self-Development column for some great input.

A lot of people accuse Trump-haters of TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome. This is a spin-off from what the late, great Charles Krauthammer coined as Bush Derangement Syndrome back in December 2003 which he described in a Washington Post column as “the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency—nay—the very existence of George W. Bush.” Trump hatred has far exceeded Bush hatred at the present time. I explain what it’s all about in The Elephant in the Room column. If, after reading it, you finding yourself experiencing tremors of rage and convulsive fits of apoplectic fury, you better get that checked.

I’ve been pondering the biblical story of David and Goliath. I noticed some unusual elements of the story I had glossed over in the past. Thus, I explain my findings in the From Ara’s Journal column. I hope you enjoy my analysis.

The World of Words column, as usual, brings you yet another piece of elegance to elevate your power of expression.

OK, let’s get started.
