The home of Uncommon Sense: Providing Clarity, Promoting Intelligence

Welcome

Greetings readers! I bring you Issue #360 of Uncommon Sense with great pleasure!

The Self-Development column will confront the issue of the importance of your own personal core values and why it is important to regularly revisit them and emotionally reconnect with them. Effective people of accomplishment maintain integrity and congruence by aligning with their own governing values on a regular basis. The Self-Development column will show you how.

Long-time readers of Uncommon Sense are well aware that The Elephant in the Room column regularly wades into controversial waters and this time is no exception. Readers at first glance may imagine I am going into attack mode on transgenderism. That’s not actually the case with this column. Instead I am questioning why so many fans of transgender ideology are very opposed to questioning anything about it. Read it and you will understand.

I recently took a trip to a women’s prison. It was an eye-opening and heartwarming experience. The From Ara’s Journal column tells the story. I hope you read it.

One of the easiest ways to impress others is to sound intelligent, and one key way to sound intelligent is to speak well. One way to speak well is to wield a strong and varied vocabulary. The World of Words column will deliver. Do no fail to take advantage of that.

OK, let’s get started.
