Hello my faithful readers! I am very excited to hand-off to you Issue #332 of Uncommon Sense! I think there’s something for everyone in this issue.
Many of us engage in some multi-tasking, at least some of the time. (Many do so a lot of the time because the zeitgeist of the times suggests that multi-tasking is to be expected in most lines of work; just think of all of the job descriptions one would find on the job boards that tout the necessity of multi-tasking.) In the Self-Development column, I would offer a contrarian view on that. Read it. Process it. And utilize it. If you do, you will excel!
The Elephant in the Room column has us come to the grand finale of the erudite Roger Kimball’s commentary on Restoring American Culture. Carefully read Part 3 of 3 for some wisdom and enlightenment.
Read especially what I have to say in the From Ara’s Journal column about the arts and the sciences. I think you’ll find it both provocative and eye-opening.
Expanding your vocabulary is essential on your lifelong journey toward mastering the English language. The World of Words column presents a beautifully refined word to enrich your burgeoning lexicon.
OK, let’s get started.
