Welcome to Uncommon Sense Issue #355! I am thrilled to bring you some of my latest thinking on a variety of issues – some positive and some not so much.
In Uncommon Sense Issue #354, for the Self-Development column, I wrote about intermittent fasting. I received a lot of feedback on that – most positive, some cautionary – for which I am grateful. I myself dropped a solid ten pounds over the last 7 or 8 days alone. In Issue #355 I will go a little further and discuss something I learned from a dear friend of many years about another approach to optimal health involving food. Do check it out and do try it out.
Also in Issue #354, in The Elephant in the Room column, I raised some important concerns about the obvious leniency of our justice system on behalf of dangerous thugs who are deemed unworthy of incarceration, yet who then go out and murder innocent Americans. In this issue of Uncommon Sense I take a deeper look at what I sense are some dark, conspiratorial elements afoot in society. Forgive my paranoia, but do hear me out for I raise what I think are some valid questions. I honestly believe that this one article may constitute the most important thing I have written to date.
The From Ara’s Journal column will continue with the penultimate exploration of my six columns on the Art of the Question, this time focusing on the Where category of questions.
Finally, The World of Words column will educate readers on a great word which has two very distinct usages. I think you’ll find the second usage, which I focus on, rather amusing.
OK, let’s get started.
